CNY Movie Marathon - Journey 2 : The Mysterious Island, I Love Hong Kong 2012 (2012 我愛HK 喜上加囍), All Well End Well 2012 (八星抱喜) and Ah Beng The Movie : Three Wishes (阿炳:心想事成)

It is Chinese New year!! Yesterday i am having movie marathon with deary at One Utama. We broke the record this time with 4 movies in a row! Too much movie and head spinning wtf

Young Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson, reprising his role from the first film) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist. It's a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. Unable to stop him from going, Sean's new stepfather, Hank (Dwayne Johnson), joins the quest. Together with a helicopter pilot (Luis Guzman) and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter (Vanessa Hudgens), they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.

Very nice matter painting and 3D modeling in this movie. What i love most was the creativity for combining 3 island into one island, the Mysterious Island. However storyline pretty predictable. Was expecting more adventure in the island instead rushing it about the island gonna sink to the bottom of sea and they need to survive and rescue themself.

Plus, there are some scene doesnt make sense according the the island law. Some insect are suppose to be big (like centipede) is small in the movies. How could Hanks manage to throw the spear without any resistance under the water? Oh well, logic or not, this movie still entertaining.

Bet the target audiences is more for people who love fantasy and children..why? because kids love Dwayne Johnson in comedy style.

Well, CNY of course i am expecting to watch some chinese movie. Followed up by last year, this year we have another movie from TVB Production, I Love Hong Kong 2012 (2012 我愛HK 喜上加囍).

Kuok is famous weather forecast announcer, who dreams to be in the headlines, but failed to do so even when he is about to retire. One day, he finds out that the world is facing a deadly threat and the chance arises to him to become a news sensation. This is when the fun, laughter and havoc come in place.

As usual, this movie gimmick is alot alot alot of TVB Actors/Actress. It is hardly for me not to compare last year "I Love Hong Kong" eventhough both are not same story. I love the previous year more due to a very great moral value and meaningful in the story. Compare to this year, it is more focused on the end of the world and dream.

Don't get me wrong, i dislike it doesnt mean is not good. The movie is still very enjoyable and funny. Thumb up to Standley Fung for being most focused and developed character in this movie. The last thing i dun like from this movie is the ending song...Amazing Grace....WHY!!???

The most ROFLMAO scene is the "You're apple of my eyes" scene...i wonder how much copyright they paid for the scene..hahaha

Next movie, All Well End Well 2012 (八星抱喜)!

Network tycoon Maximilian established an all weather female support site. Men come to bat and the only remuneration for them is one grateful embrace. On quest in helping the female protagonists, the heroic mission of these four men turns to be a journey discovering their self significant and values. And their embrace resembles the blossom of a beautiful relationship.

Love this movie much better than previous All Well End Well series. The story telling is much meaningful rather than forcefully being lame. The story was separated into 4 where Raymond Wong about being a father, Donnie Yen about chasing a dream, Louis Koo about photography (at least that i could think of XD) and Chapman To about love story. Donnie Yen acting are much better here. And thumb up to Louis Koo character name as Holland Kin...Hou Lan Kin LOL

I love how director connect the story. Out of 4 main character, he manage did a little connection between Louis Koo and Chapman To side. Other than that, story went pretty predictable, well it is all well end well afterall. Happy ending for all.

The final movie of the marathon was none other than Ah Beng The Movie : Three Wishes (阿炳:心想事成).

Ah Beng, Ah Lian, Rain, Bobby and Salted Fish Lian are coming to the big screen CNY 2012. The eve of The Lunar New Year, every household in a village is busy preparing to receive the auspicious God Of Fortune (GOF). Ah Beng's father being poor can only give coins and a scruffy GOF, who is in fact, the true and almighty GOF is touched by Ah Beng's father's sincerity and grants him 3 wishes. Not-so-bright security guard Ah Beng is being bullied by a group of rich brats. A mysterious guy comes in and helps Ah Beng. Grateful for his help, Ah Beng invites him into his life and things starts to change around him.

Another local production from MyFM team. Thumb up to their great work. As you all know i always love to watch good local production. It provide a little good value in this movie such as don't smoke (or u'll die LOL), friendship and the important of eat together during reunion dinner.

The movie has a pretty good storyline. The father who manage go to future and watch what change, how his son grown and so on. However u felt it is kinda waste to do not develop more the story between Ah Beng and Salty Fish Lian, since they look more than just a friend in the story. Overall, thumb up for this movie. There are some touched screen and happy ending of course, after the history change.

Awesome! I broke my record, watched 4 movies! Next year shall try 5 movies X)

The Hungry Hog - 3 Little Pigs

Whenever I saw a potential pork burger, i just couldn't resist myself and give it a try. I went to Hungry Hog that located at Jalan SS15/4C, Subang Jaya after saw alot positive comment of this shop.

From their menu, 98% of the foods are served with pork. Fuh, this shop is really pork paradise. Plus, the price are pretty reasonable and portion are big! I ordered myself a 3 Little Pigs burger, RM15.90.

3 Little Pigs is their signature pork burger topped with streaky bacon, ham, caramelized onions & melted cheese. What can i say? The combination is perfect! The cheese with the bacon is perfectly match and delivered a perfect sensation and taste.

Finally I found another worthy pork burger shop beside Andes Byo. Will come back again with friends to try out other food!

Yes, it was a farewell for Frank because after few years in KL for study, he finally going back to Sabah to continue his career at there. Looking back to past, we have been gathered alot despite our busy life. It shown that how strong our bond are :)

The farewell was held at Mid Valley since it is center for everyone. Before meeting up with the gang, deary wanted to have some high tea first and we tried Ireland's Potato. Well, as the name suggested, the menu was full with potato and deary is potato lover.

The price all are kinda expensive since the portion wasn't big. Cut down all to 50% then i will say it worth it. But of course it is filling because potatoes are full with carbohydrate. Other than that, nothing special in this shop.

Later we all gathered up and had lunch in food court. Not the top floor food court but the other one since they all wanna try the ikan bakar. Heard it was pretty good and famous with long queue..which is true! What amazed me was the person who take order keep saying "order order order ikan kembung ikan dori order order order" and yet, she can actually remember our order without note it down..WOW!

Not reli a fish fans, but the fish is reli good..and spicy too LOLLL..Rm7.90. Worth it! Later we continue second round at Gong Cha! It has been few months since i had Gong Cha. I managed to resist this temptation for so long. Awesome! As usual, i ordered my favourite Signature Winter Melon Tea.

I have know him since we are 9 years old. Tats made we already know each other for 15 years old. Not only him, but everyone who studies in SKJAP and still gathered to meet up till today. I been expressing alot time that i reli love this gang. It is not easy to know someone for 15 years old. You guys are the first friend i made since primary till now :)

Happy Chinese New Year to all my readers!!

Hope this year of dragon bring more prosperity to u all! Those who working will get paid raise, those who in relationship can marry this year so that next year i can have ang pao, those still planting grapes like me hopefully can get job soon! To summarize, all goes well and end well this year! :D

Yes if u realize i change tat header few weeks back. I use Blue Eyes White Dragon to represent dragon of the year. Why? well because i love Yu-Gi-Oh and BEWD is one of my favourite dragon X)

Not to mention, year of dragon is my year! Yea u guys probably can guess my age. 12 years old kid need more experience and things to learn from u all! :)

Petronas StreetSmart - Inspire Road Safety Awareness

In my whole life, i never pay a visit to the Petrosains that located in KLCC. However i am given an opportunity on last Tuesday for the Petronas StreetSmart Road Safety Exhibition.

Petronas StreetSmart focused science and technology behind road safety and create awareness to public engaging everyone - young and old generation.

The StreetSmart Exhibition entrance is free for public. They prepared various kind of machine for simulation purposes. It was very effective and i am sure kids will learn quick from here. Same goes to adult of course ;) Too bad i dun have chance to try out all the machines.

In addition, we managed to catch a short life science drama going on. Everything was explained based in science and it is pretty good education and exposure for children.

Here we have mascot for the StreetSmart ;)

It was a great event and i learned something new about road safety. I will advice u all go pay a visit to there since it is free to public :)

D'Puteh Restaurant and Ban Lee Siang Sate Celup at Melaka

Oh yes i went to Melaka last few days but not for fun, leisure or travel. It was for a important business to be done over there. Not to mention driving on 11pm+ to Melaka is not fun! The road is freaking dark -__- Anyway, still manage to grab some nice food there. Here the shop i would like to recommend when u at Melaka, D'Puteh Restaurant, located nearby Bukit Beruang.

* Nasi Lemak is one of the shop specialty *

What so special about this shop? I been there last 2 years mainly because of their fruit juice! They use pure fruit, no sugar no coloring no whatever u can name it. Plus, the size is pretty big and only cost RM2. Tell me where else u can get this? :D

* Banana Juice! *

Get myself a Nasi Goreng Ayam as well and well, the outlook it doesn't turn out as i expected. It kinda look like chicken rice to me ;/ but yet, it still cost RM4 for this..cheap!

* Chicken Fried Rice *

One Banana juice and a small size Chicken Fried Rice cant fill my stomach. Thus, I decided another round with deary at Sate Celup. I been Melaka few times and i actually never try once their Sate Celup. It is because i went there during festival season and i dislike queue or waiting for it.

Finally i manage to grab my opportunity and pay a visit to sate celup. Instead of going Capitol, we went Ban Lee Siang since everyone said this taste better.

Each stick cost RM0.60..pretty ok for me :) Finally get myself some experience throw and cook the sate inside the sate sauce. But, i would like to conclude that sate celup is nothing special. It just like cooking a steamboat in a sate sauce LOL..oh well, yea steamboat.

Yea this are the only shop i ate on that day. Others day i just having Vegetarian food since deary house nearby full with vegetarian shop LOLL

Hola! been to Melaka for 3D2N and no time to blog. The night before i depart to Melaka, i had dinner with friends. I like it the way we are, less people but still happening. As usual, i dun like huge crowds. Simple enough will do for me :)

Volkswagen Test Driving with Nuffnang

I am definitely not a car lover. But i dun hate them too. There is only one and only car i love most, my own car, Baby Vivi. But hey! Congratulation Volkswagen, u have stole my heart T3T

I am given opportunity to test drive few Volkswagen car on last Saturday courtesy of Nuffnang. Being a guy who have no idea with all the car model, I just simply choose GTI Polo and surprisingly this car are everyone favourite. So do I ;)

Unfortunately, we are only allowed to test drive around the Desa Park City Waterfront. Piff the road is full with bumper and cant speeding..oh but I did speeding to 80km/h..ya i am a safe driver! muahaha...got a moment i reli feel like test drive this car all d way back Setapak then back to Desa Park City! Hahaha

I love this GTI Polo. Is nice, smooth brake, fast pickup and I was informed it is fuel saver as well. Average 5.5 Litres for 100km! WTF that's like almost 100% save than my Baby Vivi. The only thing i dislike is the size pretty small. Well not as small as kancil but not as big as my Myvi either. Maybe i not use to it.

Cool car..too bad I am not a cool driver with cool wallet. I think on that day i was the one and only blogger who test drive 1 car. Yes me very loyal, and i dun c the point testing others car. Ok, maybe car doesn't amuse me LOL..nevertheless, it was a good experience :)

Shall stay away from car..it is expensive hobby, much more expensive than camera hobby X)

Yupz, you see them appears often in my blog. It has been almost 15 years since we know and befriend with each other. Our relationship is seriously priceless isn't? :)

We having reunion dinner each a year. We gather, we lou sang, we eat, we chat, we laugh and we are happy :) We had our dinner at Zhen Liew Xiang Restaurant, Sentul boulevard. This is also my first time bringing deary to meet them.

Chinese New Year Dinner @ Dorsett Regency Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Courtesy of Jayren, i am invited to having the early Lunar New Year reunion dinner with other bloggers at Dorsett Regency Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Checker cafe. For your information, Checker Cafe wasn't a Chinese restaurant but in this new year occasions, they offer the buffet menu.

The interior is pretty well done. Feel comfortable and peace when dine in. My personal opinion, this place is one of the best option to having reunion dinner rather than traditionally going to Chinese restaurant and get packed. You may start doing reservation now at here!

Our dinner table was very well prepared.

Our menu of the night was prepared solely by Chef Lai. Thumb up to him! He look tired but the smile was his biggest satisfactory when we enjoyed his food.

Here are the food we had on that night.

Started up with drink, we are served with the Prosperity Splash Juice. Very unique drink that full with vitamin because it is mixtured of Pineapple, Mandarin orange, Dragon Fruit juice and hint of honey. Everytime i take a sip on it i get difference fruit taste and towards the bottom i can taste pineapple most. Pretty good and refreshing juice.

Hey it is Chinese New Year, Yee Sang definitely is a must for us. It is symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor. Here, we are serve with Salmon Yee Sang with Crispy Salmon Skin. Not a salmon fans, but i definitely love the Crispy Salmon Skin.

Of course, whenever we toss the Yee Sang we will speak out all the good work and hoping it to bring luck. Can i wish for a better job and paid for me? of course, with good boss and colleague LOL

Next, Pan-fried Lamb Rack with Chef Special Sauce. It is one of the specialty by the Chef Lai and he doesn't reveal much about the special sauce is. It is one of my favourite dishes among all. The meat is completely tender and juicy enough, make me wanna go and get 2nd piece.

Another dishes must have for Chinese during this new year is none other than Braised Shark's Fin with Assorted Seafood. However, this Shark's Fin soup had more on crab meat and fish maw in it, enhancing the soup taste.

Steamed Chicken with Herbs have a pretty good texture and meaty. However it hink it was too soft to chew. People without strong teeth might like it.

Deep-Fried Cod Fish with Superior Soya Sauce is nice! The Cod fish is fresh and it goes well with simple Soy Sauce. The skin is crispy and the meat is tender.

Another dish that believe will bring good fortune is Deep Fried Prawns with Seafood Sauce. The prawn are meaty and fresh. With the seafood sauce, it is undeniable that it has rich juice and taste.

Braised Fish Maw, Sea Cucumber, Dried Oyster and Black Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetable is a great combination. It is delicious and full with juicy sauce around especially for a mushroom lover like me.

The golden colored Fried Rice with Ginger and Salted Egg was served at last. Somehow i felt the fried rice is dry. More salted egg will be good and enchant more of the taste.

Steamed Nian Gao as a part of desert are served on that night. It look sticky, but actually is not very sticky once you lift it up and what surprising is it is pretty soft to chew. The shredded coconut as topping went well with the nian gao.

Golden Sesame Ball with Red Bean paste is one of my favourite. The taste is up to quality, not too oily and, awesome :3

Sweetened Red Bean Paste is very well done too. The texture is just nice, not too thin not too thick. It was sweet compare to normal, but it is acceptable. Plus, it add abit mandarin orange skin inside to enhance the taste.

Overall, it was very satisfactory and stomach filling dinner. It was my first Yee Sang of the year with friends.

Just a relaxing day at Seoul Garden

Well, still remember last time i post about Suki-Ya at Pavillion? I have been mentioning that we told ourself we'll have a nice meal once a month once our salary is out. Oh PAU havent pay my December salary..shitty company who doesnt keep promises. we didn't have chance to go out eat on December, thus is postponed till last monday.

We went to Seoul Garden @ KL Festival City for lunch. Well is cost RM26++ for student with free flow of drinks, so why not? Plus the environment is pretty good..oh maybe because not much people around X)

Seoul Garden is steamboat and BBQ buffet shop. Does that ring your bell of Carry On Restaurant that i had in Melaka? Same concept, even food range they offer pretty same stuff.

The foods that we took..yes alot of meat..most of us are hyper carnivorous LOL

Honestly, i prefer Carry On in Melaka. Their food are fresher. Not to mention, they prepared butter for us to BBQ. In Seoul Garden, they use oil, and did not have butter for us ;/ Abit disappointed though..Hate the oil keep fly out and hit my face T3T

Nevertheless, it was a good great day to relaxing with friends. We went to have 1 match bowling later at Wangsa Walk. Yea i score the lowest, happen alwiz on 1st match piff.. We feel like going back TAO for buffet..lets hope before CNY :)

Kamen Rider Accel MG Figure

Got myself Kamen Rider Accel MG last month. The box is very big and more part to assemble compare to W. I enjoyed doing it ;)

It came with his Engine Blade, Beetle Phone and Bike Form.

What can i say? Kamen Rider W is the coolest secondary rider i ever seen. I am wishing MG will release his Trial and Booster form though.

Next, i gonna get myself Kamen Rider Skull MG!

Contraband Premier Screening

Wee!! First movie of the year! Courtesy to Churpchurp, i get to watch Contraband before it release cinema today. Brought Jieyi as my movie guest.

Mark Wahlberg leads the cast of Contraband, a fast-paced thriller about a man trying to stay out of a world he worked so hard to leave behind and the family he'll do anything to protect. Set in New Orleans, the film explores the cutthroat underground world of international smuggling-full of desperate criminals and corrupt officials, high-stakes and big payoffs-where loyalty rarely exists and death is one wrong turn away. Chris Farraday (Wahlberg) long ago abandoned his life of crime, but after his brother-in-law, Andy (Caleb Landry Jones), botches a drug deal for his ruthless boss, Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribisi), Chris is forced back into doing what he does best-running contraband-to settle Andy's debt. Chris is a legendary smuggler and quickly assembles a crew with the help of his best friend, Sebastian (Ben Foster), to head to Panama and return with millions in counterfeit bills. Things quickly fall apart and with only hours to reach the cash, Chris must use his rusty skills to successfully navigate a treacherous criminal network of brutal drug lords, cops and hit men before his wife, Kate (Kate Beckinsale), and sons become their target.

I guess i am the only one feel this movie is nice. Not completely love it but at least it was well plot. Each scene was well built and leading trouble to another trouble and make me wanna know more what happen next. Camera shot are pretty good and intense because focus on facial more..however i get annoyed by the inconsistency zoom during the close up.

However i gotta agree this movie is lack of action. Not even thriller as claim by the genre.

Catch this in cinema now if u r fans of Mark Wahlberg ;)

New Year 2012 : 3D2N at Genting

Have fun in new year! The plan was came up when Samantha said she got free room in Genting First World for 3D2N. Hence, a gang of us went up there and have fun for this year new year celebration. This is my first time actually going up Genting with them ;)

We went for dinner, lunch, Arcade, see firework, gambling, drinking, Starbucking, celebrating Alex birthday all in 3D2N. Awesome moment i must say ;)

Oh we went for BKT too at Mushroom farm AKA Kuku farm. Die die also need BKT, reli grow fat la me -_-

Later on we went to Yik Kee for buying Durian tart.

Panasonic 20mm f1.7

Been eye-ing on this lens since i got myself Baby Zeekon. Not one of the best lens but what i like that fact is 20mm (FF 40mm) with fast aperture.

My Zeekon look smaller once mount on it. Well, it is a pancake lens afterall. However the auto focus slower with this lens but, i still able to accept it as long as it perform well. The motor tend to make more sound when auto focusing. Not a big deal for me too ;P

Nevertheless, I am happy to finally able to get this lens for myself. I think i'll mount on this lens more often for casual use instead of kit lens! yayy!!

Next target, either Pana 7-14mm or...i just buy wide angle adapter LOL

My BCard Experience with Borders Express @ Time Square

Ever wonder what are the beautiful things you can get in Borders? For me I love Borders so much that i can stand there everyday just for reading.

In Borders, there are just too many awesome stuff inside that i can get for everyone. Key chain, plushie, and of course, books!

On one fine day, i visited Borders again and this time i decided to purchase a large amount of stuff from there.

I have bought a large amount of items, afraid i don't have money to pay? No worry! Thanks to BCard i actually doesnt need to carry a large amount of cash. I just need to pay with the BCard! Thank you BCard! ❤

Christmas 2011 Season : Street Shooting at Jonker Night Market

Beside spending my time with my love one and food in Melaka, i takes my time to do some street shooting. Seriously i dun have any experience in street shooting. I think myself is more like product and event shooter.

* I bet everyone know where is Jonker Street *

However i do know there are 4 things play importance role in street shooting.

Composition : Whatever you shoot, composition always play importance role.
Timing : I always believe some moment cant be capture back. Thus the timing you press the shutter once you see it is important. Capture as many best moment as possible. Etc facial, action
Lens : Not necessaries. Using fast lens, more focal length lens, all are depend individual. Some people might like wider, some might like longer focal so that he doesn't approach the subject near. Everything is depend individually.
Story Telling : Yes, shoot whatever you like, but make sure your pics able to tell the story. Well, pics tell thousand words isn't?

As for myself, being too noob i went to street shooting with my Helios 58mm f2. Oh yea M42 lens that mount with my baby Zeekon. Thus i am shooting all the time using Manual focus. Feel like going back old school SLR.

Christmas 2011 Season : At Melaka for Love and Food

As you guys know, i have my christmas moment in Melaka last year with my love one. It is my 2nd time in a row having christmas moment with deary in Melaka. Well, never grow tired with Melaka. Oh maybe the only thing I dislike was the traffic and crowds during festival season. But thats not gonna stop us from going anywhere we want! Seriously we walk under the rain on Christmas eve to had our dinner at Nadeje, located opposite Mahkota Parade.

First time here and i heard their Mile Crepe is nice. I am not a cake fans of itself but i do love to eat cake. Price wise it pretty similar to secret recipe, RM9-10 for a slice. But hey, the cake really nice! It just made my day!

Done our Christmas eve dinner we went to talk around, acting like a tourist and take some pics. Saw the very nice hotel, Casa del Rio that slap right in front Melaka River.

On the next day, the actually Christmas day, we wanna eat Ban Lee Siang satay celup but we refuse to queue and wait after see the crowd. Next, we head to Seoul Garden that located inside Mahkota Parade and yet, stupid police block the road and dun allow ppl go in. Being no choice, we ended up at the same place we had our dinner last year, Carry On BBQ & Steamboat. Buffet style with only 19.80/person ;)

I was rushing to catch a bus to back KL, thus we din went any special place for lunch. We went to AEON Jusco and give a try to Tang Shifu. Finally some healthy food ;/ ahaha

Oh yea i done my ~~Internshit~~ internship..So right now i am pretty free at home. Date me any! Rawrr!! Last day on work, we decided to brought our toys and tadaa..make a mini-ultra0-super-ultimate-galaxy- Gallery of our own. Of course, i am bringing my both Kamen Rider W and Accel MG Figure.

Among all, my favourite would be the Sentai Robot from Kakuranger. Hey that toys is serously classis and i dun think u can get it anywhere now. Regret i did not appreciated my toy last time ;/ i use to have nice toys and figure too piff

Anyway, on this break, i gonna keep looking for job and improve my port folio. Meanwhile, Anyone, date me out! RAWRR!!

Bat Kut Teh Burger @ JTean Kitchen

Located at ssTwo Mall, JTean Kitchen is a shop based on Bat Kut Teh fusion concept. Oh interior design is pretty much chinese style. Very comfortable and pleasant when you enter :)

Went to have a dinner with Ken, Jiayeen & Pennie. We have no chance to try other food by them because the main reason being there was to try out the Bat Kut Teh Burger. Yes, a very sinful dinner! We bought the offer from groupon. Bak Kut Teh Pork Burger + Pearl Milk Tea at J Tean Kitchen, SStwo Mall. One (RM12) or Two (RM22) Sets. The original price are RM24 for this set.

The burger was came with wedges as well. What surprise me was the size of the burger. It look small, almost like Prosperity burger by Mc D size but hey! It actually very filling! Enough to kill me for whole night.

I love the Bat Kut Teh burger. Though it actually doesn't feel the BKT taste but it is still nice. The meat was marinated pretty well and yupz, not much sauce in the burger itself but still it is taste and awesome.

Of coz, we are pretty satisfy with the price since we got it from Groupon. But Rm24 price for this set is it justifiable? I will let u judge it yourself :)

I will come back to this shop to try out their other food ;)

Went to try this new cafe, Pat Kin Pat Sun <不见不散> Cafe that newly opened and located at Platinum Victory, same row with Chatime and Ochado. Pass by this cafe few times and i am curious why it packed everyday. Went at 6pm+ with deary and yet it still packed. Too good?

Din get to sit in indoor, but i can see the environment and decoration is well done. There are alot selection in menu too. From cheese baked rice, local delight, mee, rice, burger, chicken chop and dim sum too! Price wise, it around same price what u get from Wong Kok cafe or Kim Gary.

Both of us ordered a Fried Rice with shredded Chicken in XO Sauce (RM12.90) and Tom Yam Seafood Mee Hon (RM8.90). The portion is just nice for your stomach.

What can i say? I totally in love with the fried rice! The XO Sauce is just nice there. I believe some cafe cant prepared a very well done fried rice with XO Sauce. But i think the fried rice a little bit dry. Din get to try deary Tom yam Mee Hon but it seem they put quite alot seafood inside there.

Saw Pork Burger in the menu! Slurp! Definitely will come back and try it! Teehee

UFO Desserts Review

Was invited for UFO dessert review on a very fine Saturday afternoon. Saw the shop few time when i pass by SS2 (located same row with CIMB Bank) but unfortunately i had no chance to try it out. But here is the chance now!

Nowdays Taiwanese dessert is growing like a mushroom in KL. Too many choices, too headache dunno where and what to get. But fear not, UFO Desserts is almost all in 1 shop! No more confusion which shop to get, be ready to choose what you gonna get here.

UFO Desserts prepared various choices of Ice series, Milk Tea and also some snack. We ordered and eat alot that day, thus i not able to shoot too much since everyone fighting for d pictures ;/ But, i dislike their Winter Melon tea...taste not good enough

Not gonna compare this with other shop like snowflake or chatime, but i gonna said that UFO Desserts have more choices and topping for their Ice series. Pricing wise, it is slightly cheaper too and affordable.

Will return here again with friends ;)

Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 : Chip-Wrecked Movie

Went to had movie with deary last night. Yes she is here ;) Initially wanna go watch in KLCC while walking around there and take a look on Comic Fiesta. However plan A doesnt work since stupid TGV KLCC refuse to have this movie. Thus, change to watch in Wangsa Walk, before heading to G Tower for NAPBAS chill out section with others foreign bloggers. Don't ask me how is NAPBAS because i confirm gonna answer AWESOME! ;) Stay tune for my update about it.

On vacation aboard a luxury cruise ship, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes are up to their usual antics, turning the ship into their personal playground, until they become 'chipwrecked' on a desert island. As Dave Seville frantically searches for his AWOL charges, the 'Munks and Chipettes do what they do best - sing, dance and wreak havoc. But they're in for the biggest surprises and lessons of their lives when they embark on an island adventure with their new friend - a castaway who's more than a match for Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Well, Chipmunks is back! I still remember i watch the 2nd sequel with deary during Christmas back to last 2 years. Like the previous sequel, nice animation, nice fur, nice characteristic and nice CG. Storyline is pretty simple but of course, what important is the moral behind it. Love, responsibility and trust are shown in this movie. Dave love those chipmunks and treat hen them like his own son reli nice feeling there.

Somehow i feel it lack of singing this time compare to previous sequel. But still, nice job. Totally can see all kids in cinema are enjoyed the show.

Catch this in cinema if u dun feel annoyed by the sound of the chipmunks ;)

Wailoon and Yvonne Birthday Dinner

Has two day birthday celebration with my gang for this month December baby, Wailoon and Yvonne. Well, not exactly a celebration, just hang out around for simple dinner. Nothing fancy! Really! Even cake also don't have.

Went to d'italianekitchen, as suggested by Andrienne on Saturday night for Wailoon birthday. We ordered quite alot, 3 pasta, 1 pizza and 1 fish and chips. I totally forgot all the pasta name, oh well, this post is not food review, so screw it ;P

What can i saw, the price are pretty standard, portion standard too, not too much not too less, enuf to fill in ur tummy, tats it! Pretty good place to dining with nice environment as wel ;) Will come back again! Oh btw it located inside Jaya 33.

Later we hang around at Picadilly while waiting Peiying to arrived to continue yumcha.

On next 2 days, we had another dinner with everyone, celebrating Yvonne birthday, who are actually 5 days after Wailoon. Went to had steamboat this time in Setapak, Hometown Steamboat. Well, alot steamboat been closed down in my area actually but, this is the one and only still live for few years. Thumb up!

Of coz, while waiting d rest to reach, guys alwiz talked about cameras stuff..both Frank and Wailoon had pretty advanced gear compare to mine, who willing to change system. and oh crap! I got poison by Tokina 11-16mm! My dream lens T3T shall save hard for my pana 7-14mm. Anyway, we had Nikon, Canon and Olympus user now in the gang ;P

Mission Impossible 4 : Ghost Protocol Movie

Oh yes courtesy to Magnum i get to watch this screening last night. Brought along Marilyn, Pennie and Jonathan for the movie.

Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin, IMF operative Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates "Ghost Protocol". Left without any resources or backup, Ethan must find a way to clear his agency's name and prevent another attack. To complicate matters further, Ethan is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he does not fully know. Tom Cruise returns in the starring role as Ethan Hunt and is joined by an international cast that includes Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Josh Holloway, Anil Kapoor and Lea Seydoux.

What can i say? Action action and action in this movie! With pretty cool storyline of course, after all this is Mission ~~Imposibruuuuu~~ Impossible! Thumb up to this movie. Well plot movie, trouble appear one and another until the end. Guess this is Brad Bird style.

One of my favourite scene is none other than climbing 100+ floors tall building..green screen? i tod tat too at 1st but nop..they reli did it for real! No wonder i dun c any weaknesses on the mirror reflection X) Of course, mass damage on BMW cars hahaha

Worth watching movie of course if you're fans of MI! Oh i dunno why but i think i like Léa Seydoux in this movie X) too bad she died too fast...uhhh

Finally i got mood to touch my blog. Been really busy this few days..not busy with my work, but busy digging money for christmas X) oh not to mention having celebration for 2 of my bestie on last sat and monday. It is always nice to hang out with them..we been knew each other for almost two decade :)

Nevertheless, NAPBAS is happening this week! Alot people are doing preparation for it. So do it. My biggest regret for last 2 year attending NAPBAS in Singapore was i didn't got myself a coat. With my financial status that time, i really cant afford one for myself. no, I dowan ask money from parent because it is a burden. Plus, due to my special "body structure" it is hard to get my size actually.

However this year NAPBAS, i told myself, no matter what i gonna get myself a coat/blazer or whatever u call. I believe, no matter what, where, who, why, a man must at least had a coat for themself. But of course, i am getting some affordable 1. Survey around Jusco last week and i saw this.

I don't know appreciate coat yet, all look d same for me. So why not get a cheap one first? tried this 1 last week and i really like it.

but FML i don't bring enough cash to buy it actually. Feeling disappointed, the hope seem shine above me when i actually knew it that today, 13th December 2011 is Jusco member card day. Without hesitating, pull Marilyn around and shop with me just now.

Bought myself a Tie last week, new white shirt (oh yea i alwiz wear black 1 if u notice ;P i dun have white LOL) and finally, a coat for myself. Total damage? RM216.20...ok la right?

I can button my coat! ok i need to "suk" my tummy to do that fml...anyway, is a good motivation for me to diet..diet diet diet diet diet! rawr!! Oh yea, i just dye my hair back X) Teehee

When Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater, they help Kermit reunite the Muppets to stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater.

Pretty entertaining show eventhough the storyline is simple and straight forward. For those who are Muppets fans during your childhood, definitely you shouldn't miss out their awesome singing and performances in this movie. The story was pretty well built where there is a scene Gary are forced to choose Walter or Mary.

Teamwork are most shown in this movie. All Muppets are gathered together to save their theater. I cant determine whether those Muppets are made by 3D model or real clothes, but i believe is a mixture..wait till i watch the making 1st. Nevertheless, the ending seem very obvious are using green screen, oh well out of budget? LOL

Great movie to watch with family, children or your lover ;)

So tired..Whole month of November is like a drinking month for me. Everyweek went out to drink at event..shall really stop myself doing that for d sake of my health and make gf less worrying about me.

I never blog about but it is Freedom party event. With Kahmon :) My my lips so red? because i use lip stick. U jelly? She slowly become very important to me, someone who dear to me that i cant afford to lost her.

Suppose to attend Pitbull concert on Thursday as well at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. However mood was totally spoiled by the rain. I dislike concert that doesnt have seat and need stand, which given more potential ppl to push and ousted my height..fml! Ended up i went back alone..not even entering the concert place.

Well i bought myself second MG Figure after Kamen Rider W. This time is the second rider in W series, Kamen Rider Accel.

Taking my sweet time to assemble it, especially when i am having mood swing. At least, there is a stuff to do to kill my though.

Oh well, not even a week and i am done with the upper body..quite fast ;/

I dunno what i have been doing recently is right or wrong for myself. Had alot sudden things happen in life and i still act according my nature. Hard to be selfish ;/ I hope December would be better month for me, for people who around me and everyone who dearest to me. You know who you are.

Anyway, since is December, 2 most looking forward celebration is none other than Christmas and New Year. It would be a tough year ahead for me..I will do my best!

I was invited to Cafe Barbera by Shannon on Monday. A very perfect moment to spend my holiday in this cafe because this lovely cafe served varieties of baked pastries, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, main course meals and desserts. Of course, their coffee are nice too.

Eventhough it took quite some time to served us that day, however Angeline who dine in there before us claimed that actually the served everything within 15 minutes, isn't it fast like fast food? ;) The perfect environment with combination of coffee and food, absolutely this is a place for everyone.

Arthur's Christmas Premier Screening

It is Christmas season!! Manage to catch up the Arthur's Christmas premier srceening with Marilyn last night.

This Christmas movie answers every child‟s question how can Santa get around the whole world in just one night? The answer is a gloriously technically advanced North Pole operation, featuring an army of one million field elves, a vast supersonic 'sleigh' and a huge control center under the ice of the North Pole. But even the most high-tech operation has a margin of error... When the gift delivery to just one child in six hundred million is missed, Santa and his super-capable son Steve deem it an "acceptable margin of error". But Arthur Christmas, the misfit youngest son can't bear it. In a crazy rookie mission he sets out to get the last present half way around the globe in the two hours before Christmas dawns. His comical adventure reunites the dysfunctional Santa family and saves the future of Christmas itself.

Don't have good impression on this movie after watching the teaser but hey, surprisingly the story is very well done! A very meaningful christmas story where, no kid should left out by Santa. The adventure, the obstacle and the challenge the face are pretty entertaining.

The style is very much like Charlie and the Chance of the Meatball. Well i am not surprise because both are made by Sony studip! They had their own significant style in animation i must say ;) Nevertheless, the 3D modeling, texturing and animation are very well done. Not to mention, the large scale modeling of the building are awesome!

Catch this movie! It will really bring you the Christmas feeling :)

I was getting myself a last minute invitation to Johnnie Walker Black Ciruit Brazil at KL LIVE last Saturday. For some reason, i did not regret attending it. Thanks to Wilee for the pass! Appreciated it alot!

kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker MG Figure

Since i started to work, i told myself beside saving it up, i'll get an item to reward myself once a month. This what i am rewarding myself, a MG Figure for Kamen Rider!

Since Kamen Rider W is one of my favourite rider, i am not suprise i am getting it first. Plus, Cyclone Joker is badass ever! I like it that MG (Master Grade) Figure allowed alot joint to move!

Like Gundam, have to assemble it. But i enjoy the process. Seriously since i was young i had alot gundam figure which all gone now because i dun appreciated them that time.

Took me around 2 weeks to finish assemble it. Mind you i am taking my sweet time to do it actually ;) Took my camera and prepare to do some set up and strobist but FML the fill light not bright enough ;/

But somehow i like it that way..more mysterious X)

Next MG Figure i will get will be either Kamen Rider Accel or Kamen Rider Skull first! I got feeling i'll get Accel first X)

Job and Camera

Totally exhausted this last few weeks! Party all d way on weekend and work like cow on weekday. I do realize owning an Olympus E-P3 really bring alot satisfaction to me. My weight had been lighten alot however, sometime job and reality is cruel :(

Get a job last night as photographer and thanks to Jeffro for lending his D300 or else i will lose this opportunity ;/

Yea, job, everyone love DSLR. Everyone can afford a DSLR. So why d hell am i giving up mine and get Baby Zeekon? ;/ well because i alwiz believe skill come first, gear later. But i think reality alwiz a reality, people still love to see DSLR on hand..oh well

I told myself in future i'll be back with DSLR, and not even 2 months, i was thinking to owned it back ;/ D7000 maybe? or Full frame? blah i am sure i cant afford either 1 of them with my current income..unless God if u love, strike me some lottery or camera k? ^^

I am not ranting, but i am still trying hard to prove i can do well too without DSLR! I'll do it with my babe Zeekon! I'll prove it!

Courtesy to Churpchurp i get to watch Puss in Boots premier screening last night. Brough marilyn as my guest of the night.

A story about the events leading up to the sword fighting cat's meeting with Shrek and his friends.

One of the character from Sherk, Puss in Boots officially get his own movie! I bet alot ppl are excited about it especially cat lover ;) Overal the graphic and effect are totally awesome! Dreamwork style, oh well..

However the plot are too simple and pretty predictable. Not much action involve, which pretty disappointing. No awesome camera movement as well. To put into simple word, it is just another common story, unlike movie from Megamind or Kungfu Panda.

However it is still enjoyable to watch all the funny movement and of coz, the adoreable Puss especially with his killer eye! Beware! ;P

Whenever come to buffet type, one of my favourite is none other than ice cream! Suki-Ya prepared 3 type flavored Japanese Ice Cream - Chocolate, Vanilla and Chocolate mix with Vanilla. The machine kinda reminded me of Tutti Frutti LOL

Well, i know it look kinda gross but, trust me never judge a book by its cover! The ice cream taste very smooth and easily melt in mouth. The sensation is awesome! One of the best ice cream i ever had ;)

I would really recommended this to all my friends who enjoy Shabu ;) I'll be back for this shop again with more friends!

Samsung NX 200 Review

The brand new mirrorless camera by Samsung, NX 200 is the replacement for NX 100. If you havent see my first impression and specification on NX200, feel free to check it out.

As usual, when i hands on a camera i alwiz test on their ISO capability. Samsung NX 200 had ISO from 100-12,800 range.

I would giving credit to Samsung kit lens, it seem pretty sharp even on ISO 3200.

Samsung NX200 done pretty well when doing daylight outdoor shooting, The color is as nice as natural.

However I am disappointed the indoor shooting. During my test, the color tend to be dull or towards to green tint (with or without flash). The white balance doesn't accurate as well especially what u see from screen doesn't tally from what u get in ur pictures.

The NX200 flash is actually totally a joke. When shoot on wide open and close up with flash, the lens shadow will drop on the picture.

The Panorama resolution seem low as well. But it done a pretty good job.

Another disappointment on NX200 is during the start up time. It can start up immediately when the switch on however it required around 3~4 second before you could actually begin shoot or press anything.

Being a Mirrorless camera, it is very competitive for Samsung to survive with recent announcement of Nikon 1. Not to mention Sony NEX, Olympus PEN and Panasonic GF series that getting alot popularity and provide awesome image quality as well.

What will make my mind on choosing Samsung NX200 as myc amera will be because of the lens availability, fun mode built in in NX200 and Panorama mode (which Sony NEX had it too). Overall i am impress with the noise performance and the quality despite i off the noise filter and reduction.

The only thing back me off would be the price (RRP RM2299), the flash (which can buy third party external flash) and the color produce by Samsung NX200.

Please correct me and feel free to suggest me any improvement of my review since it is my first time reviewing camera :)

Samsung ST96 Review

Another brand new Samsung digital camera review from me! Samsung ST96, click here to see first impression and basic specification.

Being only simple design, slim and small, another unique selling point of Samsung ST96 is it's 14mp BSI CMOS sensor that claim to be better photo in lowlight. Better photo in lowlight mean better noise performance, color and sharpness? lets see!

Starting on ISO 1600, the color is started to dull but the sharpness still maintain. Despite being CMOS sensor, the 14mp is still too much for a small sensor to handle. 10mp sensor would be pretty good and work well for this camera.

I am giving credits on the macro mode as well. It done pretty good job on letting the pics stay well detailed and sharp.

As a guy who love photography and cameras, sometimes i hate holding big and bulky camera to travel. Thus this time around, i went Melaka with Samsung ST96 and Samsung NX200 (Review coming soon) only. I felt my burden and weight been cut down alot especially when i only brought Samsung ST96 that easily fit into my pocket.

After arriving at Melaka, went to have my first meal with deary in Melaka famous Pork Satay, Sun May Hiong Satay House that located near Jonker Street.

After the satisfaction of satay and pork, i went to second round!

My first time trying Nancy Kitchen despite i came Melaka for few times. It is a nyonya based shop where they sell authentic nyonya food.

We ordered Asam Laksa, Nyonya Fried rice and their famous popiah.

After the lunch, we are totally bloated and went back to our motel for a rest before an adventure on night time. Since Samsung ST96 claim to have BSI CMOS sensor that can perform very well in lowlight, i grab the opportunity to have some night market shooting at jonker street.

But of course before that, had a dinner with my deary at Pak Putra, selling famous chicken tandori and varieties of naans.

And there my night market journey begin after some delicious dinner!

I am happy and satisfies with the night market picture that came out from the tiny sensor. It can do what it claim to be eventhough some of the pics got slightly alot noise.

However the only let down is the flash, which did not done pretty well since it only light up front object and it required 2-3 second cold down before you can reshoot.

I would recommend you get this if you are casual user and just want a camera that can point and shoot. Seriously my whole journey in night market what i did just point, shoot and run instead of point, adjust, shoot, not nice, readjust, shoot again and run which already wasted alot time to get a perfect shot. Not to mention, the compact size is easily to take out to shoot even u r in crowd.

Please correct me and feel free to suggest me any improvement of my review since it is my first time reviewing camera :)

Samsung MV800 Review

Hola, finally i got time sit down peacefully and write this Samsung MV800 review. If you havent take a look on this camera, feel free to check out my first impression and specification of Samsung MV800 :)

As i mention previous, the design and concept of this camera is pretty impressive and i am attracted. However after using it for a week, i found that i use it for self portrait more AKA Camwhore. same goes to my friend whoever use it X) but dun get me wrong, this camera can be used as your daily photo purposes.

First thing first, lets check out the noise performance from this camera ranging from 80-3200 ISO.

At ISO 800, pics still pretty sharp and color still there and on ISO 1600 it starter to soft and awfully looking on ISO 3200. This is due to small sensor in this compact and of coz, i dislike the way Samsung boost the Megapixels into 16. 10Mp. 10mp would be nice for this compact.

The pics are good under daylight which i believe most camera can do well. Under lowlight, the pics turn out no other than like normal compact camera. But it still acceptable for me if ISO 800 and below was used, which mean u need a super steady hand like me X)

Same goes to the flash. It only manage to fill up the object in front but not background.

The another thing that let down is the Live Panorama. Don't get me wrong, the function is work very well, but pics turn out to be grainy and color pretty wash out even on day light.

This camera have 26 ~130mm focal length. How far can it zoom? well here is what you can get from wide shot to telephoto.

beside use for self portrait, you can use it to fit a bunch of your friend together X)

The macro mode is pretty good! With around 1cm focusing distance, you can really shoot a very close up object and well detailed. Manage to save my ass when shooting food as well.

Overall, it is a very nice concept designed camera with overpower megapixels in a tiny sensor which made this camera actually less value. Easy going and casual user might appreciate this camera but i am sure frustration will occur under lowlight eg inside shopping mall.

My own personal score, Noise performance Average (no dif than other compact that share same or lower price range), color and sharpness just nice enough until ISO 800. However i am giving alot credits in term of the design and concept of this camera. Besides, it has alot fun filter and mode to play around ;)

I would recommended you this camera if you feel all my review above are bullshit and you don't care and just want something fun from your camera. Or else, pick a Canon S95 (or coming soon S100) which has better spec and sensor for lowlight shooting since the price are not far from each other.

Please correct me and feel free to suggest me any improvement of my review since it is my first time reviewing camera :)

Just back from movie with Simon, Kahmon & Sky. We watch You Are the Apple of My Eye (那些年，我們一起追的女孩) at Kepong TGV, my first time in this cinema ;)

Adolescence is like a heavy rain. Even though you catch a cold from it, you still look forward to experiencing it once again. Ko-Teng has several close friends who had a crush on Shen Chia-Yi. Those friends of Ko's thus moved in unison from Ching Cheng's junior high school straight into the senior high school division in pursuit of her. Naughty in nature, Ko was ordered by their homeroom teacher to sit in front of honor student Shen for her to keep close tabs on him. The two hadn't hit it off at first but Ko gradually fell for Shen, who was always pressuring him to study hard. On the other hand, Shen became impressed by the contrasting values Ko represented. Ko started pursuing Shen but Shen remained hesitant.

What can i say...a very good and awesome movie. The movie is perfectly display the life of youth during high school till they grown up. It seriously some part of the scene reli reflected of myself, made me remembered my past :') of coz..puppy love/first love is the sweetest love and moment ever.

I love how director introduce the characters, and i do love how each of the directors are given chance to developed and leading the story. Of coz, the main characters are still the one who driven the story. 2 person from difference worldm background and contrast manage to attract to each other. The story is pretty well development and showed from beginning till the end. There is no doubt or question in my mind at all, walking out from cinema full with satisfaction and past memory.

Besides story, the camera used by director is pretty well done. There are few shot really impressed me.

A very worth watching movie i must say! For those who still in high school, take a look on this movie and start thinking about your life after watching it :)

I love the theme song very much, and the MV..reli bring my tear roll down :')

Hennessy Artistry : MIECC, Mines Edition

It was a blast event! It was the biggest Hennessy Artistry of the year of 2011! The artist line up is none other than DJs Goldfish and Blink, Yolando be Cool, Chris Willis, Park Jung Min and Landy Wen!

The performances started of with Park Jung Min playing DJ's and later on went to the stage to sing! Obviously, he created alot spark and scream among the fans girl. Personally i am not into K-pop, so i dunno his song at all.

Next is Landy Wen! My Idol!! Abit disappointed that she doesnt sing much her hit song. In addition, she sing an emo song, Sa Gua (傻瓜) as well ;/ She did a crossover with Park Jing Mun by singing Guang Liang popular song, Tong Hua (童话), another emo song. But she was hot and sexay that night! Manage to grab everyone high!

Chris Willis performances is awesome too! Honestly i dunno his song at all but at least, he hype up everyone with his awesome voices and song.

Finally Yolando be Cool and DJ Goldfish and Blink was up on the stage and blast our night all the way till 2am. Honest speaking, i love last year Hennessy Artistry more but this year do happen alot memorable moment for me.

Tenshi no Cafe Food Review

Last tues, i was invited to have a food review session in Tenshi no Cafe. It has been located in e @ Curve since last few month. It is a cafe base on japanese maid concept. Now they came with butler of coz ;P

The environment is pretty good. Very pinkish. The only thing i dislike is the lighting quite dim. Another thing i felt quite important is the song selection of the cafe. Other than that they had pretty cool stuff such as toy display and console..but of course everything come with price ;P

Here is the menu for us on that night. Well total 10 dishes but we don;t get to choose. We choose based on draw lot ;/

I get the Mango Curry Rice. Uh well...a Mango on top with a curry rice. The curry is nicely done with various of spice inside. It just had a mild spiciness. The mango was fresh too. However, this 2 combination just make me feel like a combination of hot and cold. Other than the curry taste, actually i felt the food is okok, up to standard at least.

We were served with dessert as well. I choose the Durian Ice Floss. It tasted very good! Worth to order on my next visit ;)

Overall, I think they have a pretty cool concept in their cafe design. However i felt the food can be improved more in terms of the price and portion. Not to mention, they can provide more variety of Japanese food. But i do love and appreciated their effort & creativity in decorate their food, this is one of the uniqueness of Tenshi no Cafe :)

To spice up the interaction with friends and hype up to event, most of us are playing "Who Kidnapped Kak Limah" game. I group with Ken, Sam and Jolyn. Each group were supposed to find out who kidnapped Kak Limah by asking the suspects only two questions! Oh well we didd't get to win the game because, we didn't listen the instruction earlier and was blur all the way when the game started..hahaha but is a nice sweat to run around and finding for suspect ;) Love this kind of game!

There was a IPTV slogan contest on that night itself and the winner will walk away with 16GB Ipad 2 (3G + wifi). The winner of the slogan contest is Samuel! Wow damn lucky Green ~~Horney~~ Hornet!!

Immortal Premier Screening

Thanks Jiayeen for inviting me to watch Nuffnang, Immortal Premier Screening X).

A purported bastard who retains an allegiance to his mother despite the fact that he longs to join the quest of a king who is battling demons in ancient Greece later embarks on a grail of discovery that has him finding he is the king's son and also fated to become his country's greatest hero as he leads the successful war against long imprisoned Titans who are hoping to use the demons to restore their power.

Honestly i putting up too much expectation on this movie and ended up full with disappointment and question mark. The storyline pretty direct, revenge and destroy the evil. However the storyline does not reli well developed and leave me quite alot question mark (eg why Zeus never use his mighty lighting but a chain to hit? he run out of mana? LOL). Plus, cinema censored too much scene. The so call Epirus Bow that suppose to be icon of this movie just show up and used for few times LOLL

However i am giving credit to the matte painting, visual effect and sound track of this movie. As expected, everything very 300ish ;) Same goes to the action, pretty violence and up to my like, except the CG-ish body part been blow off.

Catch this in cinema if you need some violence movie.

Tower Heist Movie

Just came back from a movie with my deary. Awesome movie! Ben Stiller duo with Eddie Murphy is the best!

When a group of hard working guys find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence.

The movie is focusing the plan of robbery from A-Z. Pretty predictable except, the wonderful car that made by gold..fuah! Eddie Murphy character wasn't shine as much as Ben stiller but yet, he is the most funny character in the entire movie. Might be abit bored at the beginning however surprise is alwiz at the end ;)

Catch this movie in the cinema now! It definitely wont disappointed you ;)

Yip Yong Klang Bat Kut Teh again

Not long ago, i blog about Yip Yong Klang BKT. Since then, i keep bringing friends to there to eat and yes, everyone love it! ;) Who could resist pork? Nevertheless, brought friends to eat here after whole morning tiredness and sun madness shooting at Desa Park City.

Ordered both Dry and Wet BKT. IMHO, i still love the dry BKT very much. Wet is nice too but hey, Dry got more taste X)

Well, looking everyone satisfy with the food make me feel happy..coz i love to share good food with friends ;)

Lomography Photography Outing

Well, have some point and shoot session with friends on last week at Desa Park City. Mainly is because few of them wanted to shoot with their La Sardine lomo cam. I myself wanted to do some shooting as well because i'll continue rust if i keep hiding my gear at home. In addition, brought Samsung NX200 for some shooting as well. Kinda admit, Desa Park City is always a nice place to hang around. Not to mention it is lovely to see everyone walk their dogs in the park. Feel like bringing my Beagle here someday..someday when he no longer afraid and vomit in car X)

I guess more than half year since i did some model shooting or human portrait. Grab an opportunity with friends last sat to Desa Park City to did some shooting. The gear pf the day for mine is none other than Olympus E-P3 paired with Helios 58mm. Since we call this outing as Lomo Outing, thus i am using art filter from my camera to do the shooting.

Did not do much composition. Just feel like shoot without thinking and see how far my Art Filter can goes.

Oh this 2 love bird~~

Last week Kahmon invited me to HOT Magazine 7th Anniversary in Zouk. Well, since i am free after work why not? However it seem it kinda proved me wrong. I am too tired after the long working hour and F**king jam all d way. However, gotta admit i enjoy myself that night..at least temporarily :)

The Adventure of Tintin 3D Premier Screening

Courtesy of Nuffnang and Churpchurp, i get to watch The Adventure of Tintin Premier Screening a week before it official release in cinema.

Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor. But someone else is in search of the ship.

Love this animation very much! Especially when Tintin is from my childhood cartoon! The realistic stylization and animation is one of the selling point that attracted me in this movie. At least Tintin eye doesnt look small like in cartoon LOLL...

A very adventurous story but somehow, the storyline lack of something make me feel WOW or nervous when catching it. However I do enjoy all the heroes on board ships, rowing boats, fly airplanes, riding camels, having car\bike chases and crane fights. I enjoy the pirate fight as well..kinda remind me of One Piece.

Catch Tintin in cinema on next week if you are fans of it! oh btw 3D doesnt show as much as it shud.

Octoberfest at GAB Tavern

I was invited to Octoberfest last Thursday at GAB Tavern. Finally, my first time being in Oktoberfest. Been complained by Sharon for not seeing me at all this whole month of Octoberfest XD..Brought Ken & Pennie along to enjoy the night with me ;)

Awesome food served to us. Too bad couldn't made it to 2nd round..i on healthy nutrition and healthy diet now ;/

The whole night we been entertained by the music performance and games. But what most importance is friends being there with beer ;) Having fun chit chatting with friends about job, camera, event etc etc.

oh yea i know i short LOL...well a very best night of the day. Next gonna be Hennessy Artistry where i am sure, all of us gonna enjoy it very much!

Samsung NX200 First Impression and Specification

Improvement from previous Samsung NX100, NX200 is on the surface! Thanks to Nuffnang and Samsung Malaysia for giving me a set to review it. Being a mirrorless camera, can this win against it's competitor? It's built around a completely new 20.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor and wrapped in the series' first all-metal body. The result is a handsome camera of similar size to Sony's NEX models but one that takes a rather different approach.

The body design is very thin but not small. It look's like Sony NEX 7 if u ask me. In the box, it came together with the small flash that resemble alot flashes in Sony NEX series. Besides, the Samsung NX200 is packed with 641k dot VGA-equivalent 3" OLED screen on the back.

Samsung ST96 First Impression and Specification

I got another camera to review courtesy of Nuffnang and Samsung Malaysia. This time i got myself a Samsung ST96, a budget digital compact camera that have BSI CMOS sensor in it which Samsung claim will work perfectly in low-light situations as BSI sensors are twice as sensitive as conventional CMOS sensors.

The Samsung ST96 is really small size (90 x 55 x 18.7mm) and made life easy by carrying it in pocket. The camera is ready to take pictures within a couple of seconds of switching on and is quick to focus.

Tri-Factor Glam Night Grand Finale

Claim to be Malaysia's first ever fashion concert, Tri-Factor Glam Night Grand Finale was located at KL Live last Saturday. I decided to go there last minute without knowing anything of this event itself LOL

Well this fashion show was featuring modelling, fashion designing, and fashion photography. Teams of three, consisting of 1 model, 1 designer and 1 photographer and they will compete for the title of “TRI FACTOR GLAM NIGHT CHAMPION” and stand to win a cash prize of RM10, 000.00. Ok 10k is alot, u 3k, u 3k and i 3k. Extra 1k belanja whoever support..woohoo awesome shit right!

Performance of the night we had Dina, Beat the System, Rhythm the Peace, Ning Baizura and SnGx.

Well, what can i comment. Is an event establish by HELP's Event Management Club solely, thus i wun comment much on their operation and managing. It is awesome enough they manage to get Ning Baizura to performed. Unfortunately the PA system was sucks and she actually struggling singing.

Nevertheless, is a great event and at least, something special. Deserved the title of Tri-Factor.
